Although I’ve referenced the charity commentary already in the Times Online interview, I wanted to highlight some of the fun things that Mischa is saying about her fans.

Mischa Barton starts off this part of the interview talking about the paparazzi, and the crazy life she leads in LA versus in Paris. Why? Because in Paris there are privacy laws that protect her from being followed by the paparazzi. So it’s a very different lifestyle.

However, Mischa goes on to say that she can’t be too “dismissive” of the attention:

“Some nights it feels that everyone wants a piece of you – you want a drink with a friend and someone is going to be in your face with a camera – but the upside is, hey, at least they’re your fans, they appreciate you; and the more people like you, the better it is.”

Mischa goes on to say how great it is to hear from fans all the time. She’s continually impressed that people come up to her about Marissa dying on The OC, since to her, it’s like “cool! People still care.”

Mischa Barton takes us on a tour of the village she visited in South Africa for the “Save the Children” Rewrite the Future campaign.

Mischa visited the small village of Soweto in South Africa and shows us the new garden that is being created thanks to aid she’s helped to provide. Part of the video above is an interview with Mischa about her work with Save the Children, but it shows many clips from Mischa’s visit to Africa throughout. And you’ll recognize when the In My Name photo was taken!

The video above was shot at London Fashion Week when Mischa Barton attended the Temperly London show. In the interview, Mischa talks about the outfit she wore to the event (the Temperly dress with vintage accessories), she talks about going back to filming in November, about designing her headbands, and just being creative.

Mischa describes her new headband line as “put together” and “hippy” with a lot of flowers and embellishments.

As you know, Mischa Barton had a gorgeous spread with InStyle Magazine UK for their September 2008 edition. It was the “style” feature about the Fall fashion trends. However, Mischa Barton also had an InStyle US spread beauty shoot all about make-up.

In the video, Mischa talks about her favorite skin care brands such as La Mer. I tried this product after Mischa mentioned it once and loved it! But it is SO expensive. Mischa talks also about her hair colors and her style. She calls herself a “scavenger” when it comes to shopping for clothes and also her fave red carpet outfit.
