Mischa Barton’s new line of purses went on sale on July 1st in the UK, and online. Debenhams, which sells Mischa’s line of 30 purses in their stores, now sells 7 of the designs online.

Mischa Barton appeared on the Japanese tv show with SMAP, which follows the group of singers that, wildly unsucessful in music, turned instead to entertaining. The show is called SMAPxSMAP. Celebrities like Mischa join the show for various comedic skits.

Mischa Barton may have been cast in another thriller movie entitled The New Girl (aka Totally Perfect).
Without an official casting announcement, it’s still rumor at this point. This movie has been in development for some time, with other actresses tentatively attached to it through that time.
The movie is written and directed by Alan Shapiro. The movie follows a "plain jane" teen who is offered a makeover by a company that specializes in turning "ugly ducklings" into "swans".
The girl transforms only to yearn for her old life back… and to find that there are dark consequences to her transformation.

What a sad lack of Mischa Barton pictures of late! Why? Well, it seems that Mischa Barton has been traveling with boyfriend Taylor Locke’s band, Rooney. Mischa was spotted in Austin, Texas on July 5th wearing a cute plaid shirt - see photo here.
