Mischa Barton’s ex-boyfriend Luke Pritchard and his British band The Kooks were recently featured on a webisode of the new Rockville, CA.

The neat little twist is both Mischa and Luke, who broke up about a month ago, have a connection to show creator Josh Schwartz. Schwartz is the creator behind The O.C. where Mischa starred as her most recognizable character Marissa Cooper. He also created The CW’s Gossip Girl and NBC’s Chuck.

Rockville, CA is the new featured web series on The WB.com.

The Kooks are featured in episode two “The Douche” where they sing “Do You Wanna Make Love to Me?” on the Rockville club stage. In each six-minute episode, an indy rock band plays in the background. Sometime the band is part of the storyline, sometime the band is more of part of the atmosphere. In all there will be 20 episodes, with new episodes every Tuesday. A different up-and-coming indy rock band is featured each week.

Mischa Barton has cleared the air regarding her romance with The Kooks singer Luke Pritchard. On her official website, Mischa says she broke up with Luke when she returned to London last week.

"Things just didn’t feel quite right. There was no cheating or anything terrible, the bad just started to outweigh the good and a long distance relationship is never an easy thing to do," Mischa wrote on her blog.

Mischa adds that Luke is a great guy, but the type better suited for a friend, noting that their personalities are suited to keep the friendship going in the long run.

While the relationship didn’t last that long, Mischa did get to spend a romantic Valentine’s Day with Luke in New York.

Pictures did surface last week of Mischa hugging Luke publically outside a pub and word was they had went their separate ways after the meeting. Afterwards, Mischa spent the  rest of the evening with another guy (as you can see in the photos linked above), though he might be just a friend.

Mischa Barton was spotted eating sushi with friends in Hollywood last night where the paparazzi caught her on video outside the restaurant smoking and getting ready to leave.

They ask her repeatedly if she’s doing anything for Valentine’s Day with Luke Pritchard, though she ignores them. She does say she enjoyed the sushi. I guess they don’t know how rude it is to bring up Valentine’s Day plans to a woman.

She’s wearing the same coat from earlier in the day though you can see it more clearly in the video. Plus, here’s a link to a photo giving us a better look at her outfit. I like the coat. What about you?

Mischa Barton used her official blog Tuesday to clear up the rumors again about her love life.

Recent rumors alleged some kind of “love triangle” between Mischa, The Kooks singer Luke Pritchard and Tom Wright.

But Mischa says there’s never been a feud between the three — and Tom is a close friend who hangs out with a lot of the same people in London.

As for Luke, she says: “Luke is an amazing guy and we enjoy spending time together, but we’ve only been seeing each other for a few weeks and we’re taking it slow.”

“If I’m dating anyone, it’s Luke,” she says on her website.

Mischa Barton enjoyed a night out at the Bardot nightclub with friends in Los Angeles on February 3.

Mischa recently arrived from Paris, where she now lives. Rumor has it she and Luke Pritchard (lead singer of UK rock band The Kooks) are no longer an item. But Mischa doesn’t need to worry: The perfect rocker dude is out there waiting for her!

I’m wondering if Mischa has returned to Los Angeles to promote a new movie — Assassination of a High School President, which is scheduled for a limited release on February 27.

In a new video posted on her official website, Mischa Barton talks about her love life — a little bit about her dating history and what she looks for in a guy.

Don’t get too excited because the video is short and she doesn’t name any names. But it does give us a little insight into how she views men and her past relationships.

In the video, Mischa says she’s been lucky enough to have three amazing relationships over the years, though it’s hard to find the right guy in Los Angeles or anywhere. She said that while many have pre-conceived notion of who she is, she looks for the right kind of person — someone who isn’t impressed with what she does for a living.

The best characteristics you can look for in a guy per Mischa:

• Funny
• Smart

I love the headline she has on the video “You’ve Heard Plenty About My Love Life — Now Hear It From Me.” Hopefully, we will hear more from Mischa on her website. I really love the videos as it does let us see a different side of her and gives us a truer sense of who she is.

Mischa Barton’s ex-boyfriend Cisco Adler was arrested Wednesday following a show with Schwayze in Fargo, North Dakota, according to E! Online.

Adler was arrested for punching a man during an argument that began over an unpaid tab, according to police reports, E! Online said.

Adler reportedly punched a security personnel who was escorting him out. He was taken into custody and released later after posting bail.

However, his fellow rocker Shwayze backed him up:

"A fight broke out between tour staff and 10 bouncers, Cisco appropriately defended himself, and will be performing in tonight’s soldout show," Schwayze’s rep, David Patton, told E! News.
