Mischa Barton part of WIRED store debut

From what I can tell, Mischa Barton may have attended the popup WIRED Store debut Friday night in New York City – and is one of the celebrities participating in the One WIRED Wish program.

WIRED magazine announced that American Express and Chevy are presenting sponsors of the WIRED Store, the magazine’s fifth annual marquee gallery-meets-retail experience. The store features new technology and cutting-edge products. The popup store will be open for only six weeks during the holiday season.

The opening night party Friday night featured international recording artist Moby. Hopefully we will get to see photos of the event, and especially, of Mischa.

This year’s WIRED Store will also debut the One WIRED Wish program, featuring celebrities such as Mischa Barton, as well as Dave Eggers, Arianna Huffington, Joel McHale, Rachel Zoe, Molly Sims, Yves Béhar and others sharing their One WIRED Wish for the holidays — from the latest e-reader to ocean preservation. WIRED Store visitors can enter their One WIRED Wish for the holidays at wired.com/wiredstore to be automatically entered to win a $10,000 prize package from the WIRED Store. Maybe we will hear Mischa’s wish in a few days.

In addition, the WIRED Store will host a range of events weekly, including chef demos and wine tastings in the WIRED Café, Geek Dad Saturdays, Game Day Sundays, a green section curated by Adrian Grenier and Peter Glatzer of SHFT.COM, and a gaming area curated by professional skateboarder Tony Hawk.

The WIRED Store is located at 415 West 13th Street, between 9th Avenue and Washington Street in Manhattan’s Meatpacking/Highline District in NYC.
