Mischa Barton Cast in “Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain”

Mischa Barton has accepted a new movie part in Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain. Mischa Barton will take over the role from Sienna Miller.

The Indian movie, set to be released later this year, is directed by Ravi Kumar. The story follows a 1984 chemical spill in India that took the lives of almost 15,000 people and injured more than 100,000. The evironment continues to be contaminated from the spill and, 20 years later, there is no solution to the issue.

Mischa Barton will play a rickshaw driver who works in the chemical plant - she will be the main character in the movie. The movie co-stars Martin Sheen, Julie Delpy, and Rajpal Yadav.
