Mischa Barton’s Cellulite Reactions
Mischa Barton and her publicity team have issued more public statements about the unattractive photos of Mischa that were taken by a paparazzi while she was on vacation in Australia. The photos, though topless, focus mostly on Mischa’s thighs, which appear to have serious cellulite.
Lisa Perkins, her PR rep, says the photos are doctored. Nobody is claiming Mischa to have a perfect body, but the shots are out of place with many other recent photos of Mischa.
"Look at the shots that were taken shortly before on a beach in L.A. Did she develop all that cellulite in a couple of weeks? There’s a lot you can do with Photoshopping."
Mischa Barton was interviewed by OK about her body image and much more. Mischa says she is happy with her body and to love her curves - that every woman has cellulite and she does not claim to be perfect. She eats healthy and works out, and it’s important to be comfortable with your body, not to worry about it.
Mischa remembers when the press used to accuse her of being too skinny, and now that she’s healthy, the press is attacking her for being overweight. It’s a lot to deal with. Mischa likes to live in Paris for the privacy it affords her, from photographers.
Despite all the news reports and reproductions of the photos, Mischa remains positive:
"If I’m in shape and I’m fulfilling my role as an actress, then that’s all that matters to me. There’s been a lot of nasty gossip written about me. If I was to cry over every single thing, I’d be the most depressed person ever."
Mischa is still very upset that the photographer ruined her vacation, as she does not take much time off to relax.
