Mischa Barton Cleo Interview
Seeing as how Mischa Barton has been MIA for a while now, I’m going to put up a series of interviews with Mischa.
First, an interview with Cleo. In this interview, Mischa Barton talks about her film, Closing the Ring. Many interviews like this started to come out to accompany the Australian film debut.
Mischa Barton says it was great to work with Shirley MacLain in the film - Mischa played the younger version of the same character. They ask Mischa what the difference is between film and tv acting, and this is what she says:
"It’s an exciting time for me, because I was on a TV show for three years and now I get to mix it up. It’s fun just to try different things. I’m doing my fifth project in a row, so after this I’m definitely going to take a break. It keeps me doing things and it keeps me challenged. The characters I’m doing are all completely different and I get to change my look every time and so that’s fun for me."
Mischa Barton says her fashion icons growing up where Marianne Faithfull and Anita Pallenberg and rock stars from the 60’s.
Definitely the picture that I had on my wall was of Marianne Faithfull in The Girl on a Motorcycle. She was my icon.
The interview goes into being in the spotlight, her family, and what Mischa would do if she weren’t acting. Some favorite places Mischa’s seen while filming are the Maldives, Brisbane and a road trip up to Port Douglas. Mischa says she’s going to Mozambique soon. A favorite fragrance: Poison by Dior.
