Mischa Barton faces 4 charges

Mischa Barton was officially charged today related to her December 27 arrest for DUI. Mischa Barton has been charged with 4 misdemeanors related to the arrest: driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving while having a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher, driving without a valid license and possession of 28.5 grams or less of marijuana.

Mischa Barton’s lawyer issued a statement saying they are glad that the DA only chose to file misdemeanor charges:

"The D.A.’s Office is to be commended for treating this case the same as it would any other matter; Ms. Barton has received no special treatment, and they have done the same diligent review that they do in every case."

Mischa Barton’s arraignment will be held tomorrow, though only Mischa’s lawyer will be there. Here are the court documents:
