Mischa Barton to sing in ‘Homecoming’

Mischa Barton’s co-star in ‘Homecoming’ Megan Hickey has posted an update to her blog about her role in the film. In it, she reveals that Mischa Barton will be doing a duet with her! Megan has put out a couple of CDs under her band name, The Last Town Chorus and it sounds like one of her songs will be featured in the movie.
I’m on the set for the movie ‘Homecoming’ (an indie thriller with Mischa Barton and Matt Long). Today I started working with Mischa on how we’ll pull off our duet-ish performance scene of one of my songs, without it ending up like a bad Sonny and Cher skit. The poor girl has never formally sung before, but she’s totally up for it and I think her singing voice sounds kinda Stevie Nicks-esque, so we’ll rock it out…

Aww can’t wait to hear Meesh sing! Especially if she sounds like Stevie Nicks – this should be interesting. The only singing she ever did on The OC was with Rachel Bilson singing “We Are Cheerleaders” from Bring It On…..
