TV.com’s tribute to Marissa
TV.com has a "Tribute to TV Characters We Lost This Year", which includes Marissa Cooper (Mischa Barton) from The O.C.
Marissa Cooper, clear-skinned, privileged, and often vacant California teenager, died of injuries sustained in a bizarre accident after the automobile in which she was a passenger was run off a desolate road by a crazed ex-boyfriend. (As she lived in outsized drama, so she died.) Cooper is survived by her vixen mother Julie, absentee father Jimmy, and rapidly maturing sister Kaitlin. As for the series that begat her, it remains on life support.

This is kind of a bitter sweet Tribute. They sort of make fun of Mischa in a way, but honor still. They were right about one thing, The O.C is on life support.

I love the oc and marissa cooper.She is so pretty,stylish and good figure.Will miss her loads.The oc will be crap with out her!!!!!

Everytime i watch The oc i feeling like crying her presence is still there in the show i can feel she is still there i dont know if any1 miss her at the show but i do miss her

it’s sad marissa died but season 4 was a million times better without her stealing everyones screentime… S3sucked when it was all about her

I’ve been watching all episodes AGAIN. I’m sure, Marissa was the soul of “The OC”. I didn’t enderstand her death. The show couldn’t continues without her. What a pite. I think there was so much to be told to all teenage audience.

omg its so sad i started to see the oc just in this days but when i heard that marissa will be died in the 4th season its just like choked me its unfair becoz shes the soul of the oc i dont understand her death its inacceptable really i feel so sad coz i love marissa and ryan cople they’re so cool and so beautiful together really its uncool
