Mischa admires Cate Blanchett
Mischa Barton has admitted her admiration of actress Cate Blanchett and dreams of being an actress of her caliber:
Since leaving The OC earlier this year (06), the English-born beauty is desperate to prove her acting abilities on the big screen and hopes to have a long and diverse career like the Australian Oscar winner. Barton says, "I have plenty (of actresses) that I admire, and Cate Blanchett is one of them."

i dont know about if leaving the oc was the right choice for her after all the oc was the show that made her famous and introudeced us to marrisa she could have kept the oc on and had givien her acting in a movies a shot if that way it didnt work out in the movies she would have had the oc to fall back on but
