Mischa Barton’s gifts in Australia
Daily Telegraph in Australia reports about all the ‘gifts’ that Mischa Barton will be receiving on her stay.
She’ll be in town to do some modeling/promo for David Jones and the store’s Tahitian Summer collection starting next Wednesday, and local designers are competing with each other to give Mischa lavish gifts.
So far she has lined up to receive: 15 designer sunglasses, 50 swimsuits, tons of shoes, cosmetics, CDs, perfumes, entire season’s clothing range from many stores. Yikes! So not only is she rich but she gets everything for free!
"What she doesn’t like or decide to take home with her will be sent to the suppliers with a thank you note,” a David Jones spokeswoman said.
The deluge of gifts have far surpassed those Linda Evangelista and Elizabeth Hurley were sent during their recent visits for the store, the spokeswoman said.
"Celebrity endorsement is priceless for any Australian designer and Mischa is up there in the top three style stars of the moment.”
I guess anything worn by Mischa gets an up in the fashion world.

David Jones is an exclusive department store–like Harrods (ok, maybe not that good) or Maceys.
