How did your parents decide on a name like Mischa?

My name is actually a boy’s name - it’s Michael in Russian. I’m actually half-Irish, half-English. I was born in London, but I’ve been raised in America since I was four. My parents chose it because they thought it was unique.

    yeh mischa, that made me wonder too. i mean……mihael? im from bulgaria and we are pretty culture-close with russians.
