How do you relate to your character Marissa in real life?
Marissa and I have a lot in common. I’m 17, and to get to play my age on the show is a big deal for me. I’m in high school too, and so I understand all of the stuff that Marissa goes through - popularity, dealing with her friends, and feeling like she’s constantly being judged.You’re one of the youngest cast members. Do people treat you differently?
No, we’re all good friends and we get along well, so our age doesn’t make that much of a difference.You have the cutest outfits on The OC. Who is your designer?
Our costume designer is Alexandra Welker. She’s really great. She gets us a lot of cool clothes for the show. There’s an interesting mix in Marissa’s character, and in her taste.Which actors do you hope to work with in the future?
My favorites are Johnny Depp, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino - male actors who have screen presence. I also look up to people like Gwyneth Paltrow and Michelle Pfeiffer. Working with people with a lot of acting experience is what I look forward to.So in reality, which type of guy are you more likely to date - Luke or Ryan?
If I had to choose between Luke and Ryan, I definitely think I’d say Ryan. I definitely fall for the bad boy and his character is rebellious and cool. People have actually asked me to choose between Ryan and Seth, and I think my perfect guy would be a mixture of the two.
We all know she likes bad boys. Look at Cisco.
