Marissa’s little sis
Marissa, played by Mischa Barton, on The OC, has a new little sister.
Fourteen-year-old Kaitlin (Willa Holland, right) reunites with sister Marissa (Mischa Barton) on The O.C., on January 19th.
Willa Holland takes over the role that Shailene Woodley played in six episodes of Season 1. Fans haven’t seen Kaitlin Cooper since May 5, 2004, when her egocentric mother, Julie, married seemingly rich Caleb, Kristen’s dad. Tune-in teasers for the series say the new Kaitlin brings a darker, edgier element.
Kaitlin missed the entire second season - which some fans claim was subpar, anyway - but she’s sure to be confused upon her return. There’s only so much news the family could send the boarding-school exile in a text message.
