Missing the mark as role model
Apparently, Mischa’s role on The O.C. is inspiring teens in the wrong way… style, not love or life.
They [teens] make a distinction between their role models and style icons, who are simply required to look good. Melissa, looks to new models Lily Cole and Gemma Ward for fashion inspiration; Eliza, a fan of The OC, rates Mischa Barton, and several of the girls mention Sienna Miller. “Her look is really individual,” says Marina. “She wears odd things, but she looks good and unique, which is why people want to copy her.” But it’s only her fashion sense that inspires them, none of them would want her love life.

WELL, I THINK ITS IMPORTANT FOR ALL TO REMEMBER, THAT IT WAS JUST A TV SHOW.
JUST LIKE MOTION PICTURES, THIS IS A PRESENTATION OF FANTASY N ENTERTAINMENT, NOT REALITY! BY THE WAY, LOTS OF US WISH THAT THE OC WAS STILL ON WEEKLY; MILLIONS ENJOYED IT, AND I SURE DO MISS IT!! :)
